GMR NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT

PAT DELAIR NAMED NEW VICE PRESIDENT

 

LONG TIME VOLUNTEER & TEAM LEADER WILL HELP TAKE ORGANIZATION INTO THE FUTURE

 

(1 DEC 2016)  It is with great honor that we announce our new Global Mission Readiness Vice President and Director of Operations, Patrick DeLair.  Pat, a long time volunteer and team leader of GMR, is a fire lieutenant with Clackamas Fire District, located southeast of Portland, Oregon.  He is active in his community and serves on the Clackamas Fire Pipes and Drums Honor Band.  Pat has been instrumental in fostering a number of our training projects in South America including an upcoming fire academy in June, 2017 for Cusco, Peru.  His role as Vice President will include a seat on our Board of Directors, and the responsibilities of Operations Director.  As Operations Director, he will organize and plan all future training projects abroad and will serve as liaison for all international contacts.

 

Pat has worked extremely hard for GMR throughout the years and supported our mission like no other.  In a stement, Pat said, "Thank you Global Mission Readiness’ Board of Directors for this opportunity to become your next Vice President. I humbly accept. I am very excited for the opportunity to directly contribute to GMR’s present and future. As a seasoned GMR traveler, I hope to help the experienced and unexperienced volunteers take a more active role in changing people’s lives by achieving GMR’s mission worldwide."

 

We are extremely proud to have Patrick aboard and congratulate him on his new position within the organization.
