On December 5th, 2010, four volunteers from Global Mission Readiness will begin a five day teaching mission for the Urban Unit of Firefighters and Rescue of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. The training will include an EMS first responder component and hands-on automobile extrication. Read More...

INFORMATIONAL SEMINAR FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS A SUCCESS

GMR's first informational seminar for prospective volunteers took place in Oregon City on April 19th with 28 people attending. It was our first opportunity to branch out to people from other organizations and skill sets. The meeting covered an array of topics including our history and mission, GMR's staff member introductions, our expectations, code of conduct, and upcoming missions. Read More...
